In the late 1980s, a team of Ukrainian filmmakers travelled to remote areas of Siberia to film them. Decades later, in 2022, their forgotten film reels were discovered in Kyiv. Drawing on this recovered archive, WHERE RUSSIA ENDS explores the extent and consequences of Russian imperialism from the time of the Tsars to the present day.
