Synopsis
Khaled, a young Sirian refugee, arrives at Helsinki hoping to get a job and locate his sister, but to the Finnish bureaucrats he’s just a nuisance. After getting involved in a fist fight with the owner of a restaurant, both men become friends, and it’s only then that things start to get better for Khaled. This laconic ode to human dignity was awarded with the Silver Bear for Best Director at the Berlinale.
