Born in 1991, Sidney Cadot-Sambosi is a film critic, scriptwriter and actress. She began acting at eighteen in a collective production named Dom Juan. After studying philosophy in Paris, she returned to theatre, film and television, performing both main characters and supporting roles. Her poetry was published in various revues (Point de Chute, Débridé, Vif). She presented her poems at several festivals in France. In 2023, she joined the Connexion Limitée Franco-American poetry translation collective. As a film critic, she focuses on African and African diasporic cinema. She published in Africiné, Guiti News, and Awotele. She has been a critic jury member at the Khouribga International African Film Festival in Morocco and Vaulx-en-Velin Francophone Film Festival (France).
