Synopsis
Angolan revolutionary leader Domingos Xavier is arrested by Portuguese officers in Luanda. They take him to Sambizanga prison, where he will be tortured to death if he does not rat on his fellow dissidents. Meanwhile, Maria, her wife, goes from one prison to another to discover what has become of her husband
