Synopsis
During her night shift, a young receptionist at a London hotel silently witnesses the stories of the guests passing by. They gradually acquire an ethereal presence as the space transforms into a ghostly place. One of the most beautiful British independent films of the eighties, NIGHTSHIFT combines autobiography and fiction to explore the work of women in that social context.
