Synopsis
Han, a very sensitive teenager, begins to question his family's supposedly perfect image, perceiving several cracks beneath the surface, especially in the unhappiness of his mother, Shu-yi. As he drifts away, he is drawn to Xue-jin, an enigmatic woman. What begins as a rebellion on Han's part reveals a deeper, more rooted connection between the two women that redefines the fragile balance of the home.
