Synopsis
In 1904, Ësáasi Eweera, one of the last Bubi leaders to stand up to the Spanish rules in Equatorial Guinea, was arrested and forcefully taken to Santa Isabel, the colony’s capital, where he died. The official Spanish version of these events is still kept in the General Administration Archive and is opposed to those that have survived by the natives.
