Synopsis
Lord von Ketten's lovely young Portuguese wife moves to an ancient castle in northern Italy. He is ready to return to war, while she remains confined for eleven long years. Mrs von Ketten reads, sings, dreams, dances, swims, rides horses in the forest, waiting to return to the game of love.
