Marina has worked as a journalist /publicist specialized in Italian cinema and theatre for the newspaper “Momento Sera”, also collaborating with “RAI Radio3”. Furthermore, she has also worked as a correspondent for the cultural page of the Swiss newspapers “Il Dovere” and “Il Quotidiano”. For the latter, she was the special correspondent for the Berlin, Locarno and Cannes Film Festivals. She has been coordinator of the Cultural Association Beat 72 (Teatro Colosseo Roma) and actress in the plays by Sanguinetti, Bufalino, Leo de Berardinis, Pinter and Euripide, among many others, as well as in Nino Bizarri’s medium length film Fiori di Siepe.
Besides, she directed the plays La tentazione and Ustascia. In the cultural event Summer to Rome, she designed and directed the event (music, drama and dance) Palladium to Borghetto Flaminio (45 days of performances).
In December 2013, in Berlin, she was responsible for the Spanish communications for the European Film Academy Awards Ceremony, awarded by the European Film Academy. Since 2006 she has been working at the Seville European Film Festival, in different positions, the most recent being the Head of the Department of International Relations.
