Synopsis
Rafael Montezuma dissects the primitive universe of Pillimpo, a self-taught sculptor with a style that falls between Kitsch and Art Brut. Through this piece, we are invited on a journey under the microscope towards the invisible and the subtle of the human cosmos; as the theory of Hermes Trismegisto states it: “As above, so below, as within, so without, as the universe, so the soul…” Amongst creatures that greet eerily, Pilimpo implores his God to recover the star that guarded his imaginary road.
