As a curator, Garbiñe Ortega has worked for the Film Society of Lincoln Center (New York), Tate Modern (London), Austrian Film Museum (Vienna), Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive (Berkeley, California), National Gallery of Art (Washington) and Centre for Contemporary Culture (Barcelona). She was codirector of programming at Ambulante and co-founder of Zineleku, a film exhibition and educational project placed out in the Basque Country. She was recently appointed as artistic director of Punto de Vista Film Festival.
