José María Suárez

From an early age, José María Suárez set out to make a living from music despite the dificulties of “making it” from an Island. As a teenager he attends a rock festival in England and the trip changes his concept of show business for life. Almost half a century later, Suarez keeps pursuing his dream. Along the way he has been part of three bands that have left their mark on the history of rock made in the Canary Islands: Teclados Fritos, Besos Rabiosos and his solo project Suarez DC. With this documentary, José María de Páiz signs the third of his audiovisual chronicles of the "Canarian rock heroes".
