Synopsis
Some documentaries manage not only to tell a story, but also to change history. With his only film, winner of the Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature, the late director Malik Bendjelloul thrilled the world with the incredible story of Sixto Rodriguez, a Detroit folk singer who enjoyed a short and discrete musical career in the 70s. Away from the public eye for decades, he was presumed dead and lived a regular life without being aware of the impact that his music was having in other cultures and generations.
