Canarian cinema is created and recreated in its creation. This year’s Canarias Cinema programming stretches out, leaps without a safety net, and emerges victoriously. There is comfort in longer formats, proof of the best state of our cinema that lies in a diverse myriad of genres. At the 22nd edition of the Las Palmas de Gran Canaria International Film Festival, we will be screening five feature films and seven short films that will compete for the Richard Leacock award in their respective categories.
