Luis Miñarro’s catalogue includes a very representative sample of the most interesting auteur cinema produced in our country in the last decade, but also with non-Spanish productions directed by first-class film-makers (Manoel de Oliveira, Apichatpong Weerasethakul). His sensitivity towards the concerns of new cinema marks out a well-defined terrain which is nonetheless open to new experiences. The cycle will include one of the titles from his catalogue plus another five that the producer and film-maker himself will chose as a sample of the films that have influenced him most profoundly in his line of work.
