Using an interview granted by Yehuda Lerner in Jerusalem in 1979 during the filming of SHOAH, Lanzmann creates SOBIBOR, which original title, SOBIBÓR, 14 OCTOBRE 1943, 16 HEURES, points out the place, month, day, year and hour of the only successful uprising in a Nazi extermination camp.
